Pelle Nation Mixtape Part I: Hosted and produced by DJ Chubby Chub
Pelle Pelle is a brand that has a long history with hip hop since their inception back in 1978, when hip hop itself was emerging. Although they started out as a leather outerwear company, Pelle Pelle was the first to introduce the baggy designer jeans that later become a hip hop fashion staple once the loose fitting pants that allowed lots of movement quickly became popular amongst b-boys and emcees alike.
They then continued to be a part of hip hop’s legacy, being worn by some of hip hop’s biggest stars, showing up in the movie Notorious, and even designing custom jackets for the founders of hip hop, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, when they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Today, Pelle Pelle has continued to add to their rich catalogue of hip hop heritage by releasing a body of work by the name of "Pelle Nation" Hosted by G-Unit's DJ Chubby Chub. The project is stacked with a line-up of some Hip Hop's all stars as well as some new blood in the game. Such as, Remy Martin, Papoose, Noreaga, Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Styles P, Rahzel, Troy Ave, Too Short, Mack Wilds, Rahzel Jr., Warchyld, Dej Loaf, Dunn Lemagne, Dice, Uncle Murda, Pep, and Lotto Aura, to name a few.
